Acceptable Use Policy

The service exists to help people make better purchase decisions. These rules keep it usable, lawful and fair to the sellers we investigate.

Last updated — 24 August 2026

01Permitted use

Commission investigations on products you or your organisation are genuinely considering buying, read the case files, and share them privately with people involved in the same decision.

02Prohibited use

The following will result in suspension without refund of spent credits.

  • Automated scraping, bulk querying or reselling case files as your own research product.
  • Reverse engineering the platform, probing it for vulnerabilities without invitation, or circumventing credit accounting.
  • Submitting content that is unlawful, defamatory, or designed to generate damaging claims about a named seller.
  • Using the service to research prohibited goods: weapons, controlled substances, counterfeit items or stolen property.
  • Sharing account credentials, or creating multiple accounts to reuse the first-registration promo code.

03Content you submit

You must have the right to submit any link, screenshot or description you provide. Do not include other people's personal data in an investigation request — a listing URL is enough.

04Fair capacity

Credits buy research work, not unlimited concurrency. We may queue very large volumes of simultaneous investigations from a single account so the service stays responsive for everyone.

05Reporting abuse

If you believe a case file is inaccurate or that the service is being misused, tell us through the contact page. Sellers may request a review of findings that concern them and we will re-examine the underlying evidence.

06Enforcement

Depending on severity we may warn you, throttle the account, suspend access, or terminate the account and report unlawful activity to the competent authorities. Where a breach is minor and fixable, we will normally contact you first.
